These are the Generals of the militaristic roman esque cyber government whose lore im working on atm

The Generals are hand picked for their prowess in battle and awarded with the status and a golden armor donned with their medals and insignias for their accomplishments,they rarely engage in battle unless there is extreme need in it,most of their time they mentor the officers of the lower ranks depending on their specialty and act as honor guard of the Machine Empress :

I think Commander Lynx should get the nickname "Mister Scratchy"

and are the bad guys filthy mutants that barely resemble L4Ds' Special Infected?
...Because that would be cool if there was a unit for them called "Ghoul" that looked like the product of a Hunter/Tank one night fling.
Final thought:
If they aren't mutants then they should resemble the DRF from the manga book series Biomega
