I'd like to give my take on some of 's names for the characters. This might be a bit long, but bear with me.
Agent Spearmint, while appearing to be Queen Sourball's right-hand man, is actually a double-agent serving the Lord of Good. The Lord of Good, the King of Angels himself, rules the Morningspere, a wondrous land overlooking BizarOoo. Marceline, the Angel Princess, was separated from her father when the bombs fell, but the Sun monk took her in, raised her as his own, and eventually reunited her with the Lord of Good. The Quack Queen is a sadistic woman, more concerned with experimentation that actual medicine. William the Betrayer became infamous for damning an entire race in order to gain Necromantic Power. Ever since William's dastardly agenda was revealed, the Paladin has sworn to put a stop to the wicked necromancer. Pugther, the personification of a sweet, innocent puppy, lives with the kindly Sun Monk, along with his other brethren. The Sun Monk was originally a criminally-insane kidnapper who, after breaking out of an asylum, came across the Solar Scepter, banishing his madness, and leading him to dedicating his life to helping those in need, and doing whatever he can to make lives a little brighter. Queen Sourball is iron-fisted at best, cold-hearted at worst, and delights in torturing the subjects she created with her own hands. Djinn the Imp is a vile-tempered, ill-natured little devil who will gleefully wreak havoc across BizarOoo, but may inadvertently do heroic deeds on occasion. Xake the Anubis is the sullen, unwilling "companion" of Djinn who would happily leave him to rot somewhere, if he wasn't beholden to accompany him on his asinine adventures.
